Privacy Policy

Translation of the German version, which alone is binding.

This policy describes which personal data we process when you visit this website, send us an enquiry, place an order or subscribe to the newsletter, and for letters to real estate companies. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

IMMOLEX
Owner: Mirco Röthenmund
Hunnenweg 11
4500 Solothurn
Switzerland
Email: dsil@immolex.ch

2. Visiting the website

When you access the website, our hosting provider stores technically necessary information in server log files (IP address, time of access, page accessed, browser). This information is used to operate the website securely and is deleted after a short time. The website itself does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising services. We load fonts from our own server, not from Google Fonts.

3. Contact form

When you write to us, we process your name, company, email address, phone number, topic and message in order to answer your enquiry. This information is sent to us by email and is not passed on to third parties.

4. Ordering reports

For an order, we process your name, company, email address, the name for the footer (‘Prepared for’), the selected report and the municipality. We use this information to produce and deliver the report and to fulfil our bookkeeping obligations.

Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). You enter your payment details directly on Stripe’s payment page; we do not receive them. Stripe may also process data in the USA and relies on standard contractual clauses for this purpose. Details: stripe.com/ch/privacy.

5. ‘Market Monitor’ newsletter

If you subscribe to the Market Monitor, we process your email address, the selected segments and the times of your sign-up and confirmation. We first send you an email with a confirmation link; you will only receive the newsletter once you have confirmed (double opt-in). If you do not confirm, we delete the address after 7 days.

We use the address solely to send the Market Monitor and do not pass it on. The newsletter is sent from our own mailbox with our hosting provider; we do not track opens or clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the end of every email; your entry will then be deleted.

6. Letters to real estate companies

We introduce our reports to real estate companies by letter. The postal address is taken from publicly accessible sale listings, and the names and positions of the management from the commercial register or the company’s website. The letters are printed and posted by Pingen (Pingen GmbH, Switzerland).

Each letter bears its own QR code. If you open it, we count the visit and attribute any resulting order to the letter; this way, we write to you at most once more, and only as long as you have not placed an order. The website does not set a cookie for this. If you no longer wish to receive letters, a short message to keine-post@immolex.ch is sufficient; we will make a note of this and not write to you again.

7. Protection against misuse (Google reCAPTCHA)

We protect our forms with Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC, USA). The service is only loaded when you use a form. It then analyses technical characteristics such as your IP address, browser information and behaviour on the page in order to distinguish humans from automated programs, and may set cookies for this purpose. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

8. Retention

  • We delete unpaid orders after 7 days.
  • The PDF of a report remains available for download on the server for 30 days and is then deleted.
  • We retain order and payment details for as long as the statutory retention obligation requires (usually 10 years).
  • We retain enquiries from the contact form for as long as necessary to process them and for any resulting business relationship.
  • Newsletter: unconfirmed sign-ups for 7 days, confirmed ones until you unsubscribe.
  • Letters: code, municipality and number of visits for as long as the campaign runs; the ‘no more letters’ note permanently.

9. Your rights

You may at any time request information about the data we hold about you and request its rectification or erasure, unless we are legally required to retain it. To do so, write to us at the address above or use the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
